Oregon Clean Energy Center

An 869-megawatt combined-cycle facility that provides critical baseload power and delivers value to the community, environment and investors.

Oregon Clean Energy Center

The Oregon Clean Energy Center (OCEC) is a 2x1 natural gas, combined-cycle power plant located on a greenfield site in Ohio. The new plant provides a vital power source to an industrial region made up of major refinery, automobile factories, and many local residents. Prior to construction, we used a 3D modeling technology that allowed the client to walk through the plant before it was built and provide input from an operations and maintenance standpoint.

Overview

As the EPC contractor for the project, we provided all design services, procured all equipment and materials, performed all construction activities, commissioned all equipment and systems, and performed the required testing of the facility. Our team executed on time and within budget, despite these significant challenges:

  • Small site footprint
  • Winter construction
  • Equipment fabrication
