Installing fiber communications networks, SCADA, sensors and microprocessor-based protection upgrades on all of PSE&G’s 26 kV underground networks.

26kV Underground Network Monitoring Program

For Public Service Electric and Gas Co., we installed fiber communication networks, sensors, microprocessors and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) for an underground network monitoring program. It helps the utility track the health of its underground assets to quickly pinpoint and correct problems. The project included upgrading over 200 transformer vaults with the latest in fiber communication and SCADA technology.
